**If the black wire is attached to terminal “3” on the existing switch, then this switch is not compatible
**Terminal number sequence on the existing switch should match this switch: L-1-2-3 counterclockwise direction, otherwise this switch is not compatible
Zing Ear ZE-208S 3-speed fan switch is easy to install and gives you the ability to control the fan’s rotation speed by tugging the pull chain. It can handle six amps at 125 volts or 3 amps at 250 volts.
